FOR SALE: ‘BOND V JUST WOW’

rising 8yo 16.3 swedish bred ‘bond’ is a very promising intelligent young horse, oozing presence, potential and quality.
i purchased bond last year to take a place in my showjumping string, however due to personal circumstances i have been unable to produce bond in the way i intended.
bond is extremely gentle, kind hearted and humorous on the ground. he loves a cuddle and will search your pockets for treats, remove hats off your head, he can undo zips and loves playing with people. our groom regularly plays with him on foot in the arena, and i find bond to enjoy the company of people more than horses! he is a very sociable chap and very chatty, he is always the first head over the door to greet you in the morning and is everybodys favourite.
he is a dream to lead in, turn out, tack up, crosstie, leads off quads, loves dogs, cats, chickens, small ponies, children.
he loves a groom and a pamper, stands for the farrier, dentist, vet and stands like a rock to be clipped. he is a real dream on the ground and i would let literally anybody handle him.
bond is a little more sensitive under saddle, we took 3 months of getting to know eachother before competing, and he has only recently seen his first international competition which he behaved impeccably for.
bond is very forgiving and floaty on the flat, i believe he would do a lovely dressage test but he like’s a challenge and can get bored easily. he schools in 3 beautiful collected paces with extensions and collections, basic lateral movements. he enjoys polework/ raised poles and picks things up very quickly. however on the flat does need regular challenges and needs to learn new things else he can go sour.
bond hacks alone and in company, on the buckle. he is happy on roads, in open spaces, he enjoys popping a log or a bush, i have never had him spook and we hack out upwards of 3 times a week. he see’s big lorries, tractors, farm machinery, cow’s, dog walkers, cyclists and takes it all under his stride, he will lead or follow on behind. again would trust a complete novice on him to have a pootle round, equally enjoys taking it up a gear too! he’s very fun!
showjumping is what i bought bond for, and what his breeders intended for him, however he has not had the showing education quite yet.
bond jumps for fun, however can become fizzy and hot and will leap on the spot, have a little rear or buck and can become very spooky in the arena if not ridden sensitively but firmly. bond know’s what he can and can’t get away with with different riders.
i have schooled bond round 1.30 courses at home, and 1.45 oxers and single fences. he is fun, fast and turns on a dime. snaffle mouthed.
during an international showjumping event in naples, italy in june 2025, bond jumped clear round the landrover £5,000 sweep stakes placing.
he also had a very successful second jump around the normandie 2026 regional qualifiers, and qualified to attend but sadly we were not able too, during bond’s competitions i really felt he could be a super GP horse in the future in the right hands.
he has the brain and ability but needs the knowledge, he has previously competed in the UK and attended doha with previous owners in 2025 for the amir’s sword event, jumping clear rounds all week and bringing home ribbons. this was at a lower level of 1.25. since buying bond at 1.25 level he has massively improved in the short time he was competing and jumping around, in the right hands this boy would be flashy enough to go all the way.
bond had a fresh set of shoes on (4) on 01/03/26

saddle fitter and reflocking 19/11/25
and all vaccines and vet records are up to date.
2 previous homes ( breeder and i ) so full history is known and discussable.
passported, open to vettings ( passed a 5star in may 2025 with full records available)
comes with saddle, bridle and a few rugs.
only for sale due to lack of time and an unfortunate end to my showjumping career for the foreseeable. absolutely no joy riders, day dreamers, novices or dealers.
