Nokandu (Kandi)– 16.3hh 8yo British Trakehner x Akhal-Teke Mare

Kandi is a beautifully bred, talented and athletic 16.3hh 8yo trakhener x akhal-teke mare. She has had a lovely, varied education and has done a bit of everything including fun rides, XC schooling, beach rides, riding with the hounds, dressage (Prelim level) and showjumping. She has successfully competed unaffiliated showjumping at 70/80cm, regularly coming home with ribbons, and has experience in BS Club classes. She is a careful, scopey jumper with a lovely technique and plenty of ability to progress further. She has schooled 90cm comfortably at home and has jumped 1m fences with scope. She has also enjoyed XC schooling up to 90cm, proving brave and honest. She loves her jumping and is always keen to get on with the job. Recently taken to hound exercise and completely unphased, she ended up leading our pony around. Kandi is a lovely horse to have around. She hacks alone and in company, loads and travels well, and has stayed away from home. She has also been ridden at home by my confident, capable 8 year old under supervision. She is enjoys having a job to do and she literally loves to jump. Would make a fantastic ladys hunting horse. Her flatwork is progressing steadily, but does require further work. She is an athletic mare who can be expressive when she finds something difficult, particularly when unbalanced, so she is best suited to a confident rider. She would suit a confident novice, teenager coming off ponies, or competitive home. She is a kind affectionate horse with a great work ethic and huge potential with the right rider.
